Swiss Cheese: I’ll take a slice of that!

Not sure about you, but I get tired of the coronavirus coverage in the news. My sister is a Registered Nurse, and she is deservedly exhausted from taking care of people, on ventilators, in medically -induced comas, who are on the precipice of death… she is taking care of people who couldn’t follow commonsense guidelines around social distancing and mask wearing. So maybe me whining about coronavirus coverage doesn’t carry much weight, but I was refreshed & emboldened to read this wonderful New York Times article about the Swiss Cheese Model for Pandemic Defense. It’s a quick read and a welcome respite from the typical high-statistics & heartbreaking death rate reporting. Stay safe.
