Bulletproof! Food Safety was established in 2013 by Austin Publicover with an emphasis on excellent customer service, HACCP, SOPs, foodworker trainings, food safety management systems, small plant manufacturing, and regulatory compliance for restaurants and food producers.

From 14 years self-employed in the HVAC installation business in Tucson, AZ, to 6 years as an Operations Manager at Danny Meyer's Union Square Hospitality Group in the heart of Manhattan, to founding Bulletproof!, Austin has seen & done a lot of cool stuff, including designing multi-story A/C systems, project managing at MoMA and Gramercy Tavern, conducting more than 580 inspections & site audits, and developing HACCP and Preventive Controls plans for product as disparate as breaded poultry, gelati, confectionery, smoked salmon, tortillas, reduced oxygen packaged methods for retail, imported bottled water, HPP’d pesto sauce, and lots of fruit & vegetable juice. He loves the challenge of helping firms come up to speed on FSMA.

Austin lives in beautiful Brooklyn, NY, with his lovely wife Lisa; they have two kitties, two doggies, some cacti, and one Venus fly trap.
